Known Bugs of Mosaic-L10N (2.4.0)
- Generally
speaking, if you feel something gets wrong,
please try to choose character set again
by Font menu.
- In
many cases, Document Titile, Document Source and
TEXT
and TEXTAREA
Fill-out Forms
in various languages won't be displayed correctly.
SELECT
Fill-out Forms is almost handled correctly.
In X/Motif terminology,
Label Widget is multi-localized but
Text Widget and TextField Widget is not.
- For
HZ encoded documents, you should set character set to HZ
before you open the documents.
If documents in HZ does not displayed correctly,
choose character set to HZ by Font menu,
and reload it again.
- When
you read Japanese or Chinese (HZ-encoding) articles of NetNews via Mosaic,
it is possible to be broken some part of a article or article list.
This is because a JIS or GB part of string which contains characters
'<', '@'
and'>'
in this order
is treated as Message-ID,
and Mosaic attempt to convert it to the link.
This is pretty rare but things might go unexpectedly...
- Mosaic-L10N
will core dump if
C/J/K characters are used in
<LISTING> ... </LISTING>
environment.
(This will be fixed in the next release.)
